My Gratitude Page

I have been blessed so many ways by so many people and by the Universe itself. I wanted to take some time out of my day to express my thanks here. I can't begin to express my gratitude for everything, but it's a start. :)

• Yes, You, the reader - For visiting my site and taking the time to learn a bit about me as a human being here and not just assuming that I'm some mechanized jewelry-making machine.
• Mom - Oh for tons of things! Most especially for supporting me in so many ways when I was getting my business started; not killing me when I was a horrid teenager who surely deserved it; and for making the house rule when I was a child that "if you're able to read it, you're allowed to read it," which enabled me to find a whole world of fascinating things in books.
• Chuck - For loving me and putting up with me even when I'm being really weird.
• The kitties, Boni Maroni, Sanjee, Gree, Pepi and Mini - For being great company, making me smile and laugh daily, and reminding me to live in the moment.
• Dad - For life lessons, support, and help, including helping me pick out cars that don't disintegrate when they're paid for.
• Leetle Brudder - For being a cool little brother all along (although not so little any more), being a great DM once upon a time, and always having faith in me. I couldn't have picked a better brudder.
• Milt - For being one of those forever friends you can talk to about anything and call on for anything.
• Christine - For a jillion laughs, a similarly warped sense of humor, and amazing me by actually reading my WHOLE website.
• Grace & Jean - For being my new "aunts". I'm not sure where the old ones went, but I needed new ones.
• Larry - For a ton of support in getting and keeping my business going, and for reminding me that it's ok to make money.
• Scott - For years of yakking while I'm working at the computer and helping out with the dull stuff like proofreading, without complaint even.
• Deepak Chopra - Who doesn't even know me, but my gratitude for and joy in his books knows no bounds; He reminds me who I am every time.
• Jim - For reminding me that I may be odd, but I'm not nuts.
• Lynne - For a different perspective.
• All the people who buy and love my jewelry - For allowing me to avoid having a "day job" that I hate, making me grin with your great emails, and reminding me that I'm actually good at my art even when that little nasty voice in my head tells me I'm wasting my time.
• Jim Meyer - For being such an excellent teacher and mentor at the University. You'll never know what an impact your very last comment at my very last critique in jewelry studio meant to me.
• Eni Oken - For teaching me so much about ornamental jewelry making.
• Jackie - For ticking me off enough to get back to my jewelry making in a big way.
• Richmond Friends Meeting - For being there even when I am/was just sort of a stray. I know I'll always have you guys, no matter where I go.
• Chloe - For almost 20 years of fuzzy, happy, warm companionship.
• Rhonda - For totally blowing my mind in a good way by wearing only my creations.
• Tara - For being the most seriously cool wolf to ever eat off a fork or understand English. We miss you, girlfriend.
• Ken - For so many lessons on life and healing and learning to know myself.
• The folks at The Purple Rose - For much assistance with my crystals and stones obsession when I was just starting out.
• Psychokitty and the rest of the cats in the kitty blogosphere - For giving me a place to "hang out" when I don't feel like dressing to go out.
• Bob - For saying "If you're not happy here why stay?"
• Marvin and the rest of the gang - For helping me through some tough times and being great cheerleaders as well as realists.
• Astrid - For telling me to sit on my hands when I need a break.
• Thank you to all the folks I haven't mentioned, but who definitely deserve it. You're in my heart, even if I couldn't get you mentioned here just yet.
