IMPORTANT!!! Do NOT click "Submit Order" on the shopping cart more than one time period. NO MATTER WHAT! We will hold items for you until we can try to get the problem sorted. :)
General: You must be 18 or over to purchase items online at CrystalsAndJewelry.com.
All orders are handled on a first come, first served basis due to the individual nature of many of the items. All orders must be prepaid, including prepayment of shipping. If the item you want to order was sold but not yet marked on the site, I will either give you a store credit or a refund, your choice. Confirmation of information or additional details may be needed to process your order, and in this case, I will contact you personally. All prices shown are in US dollars and all payments must be in US dollars.
The terms stated at the time of your order will be in effect for that order. I reserve the right to change prices at any time, and to fix or cancel orders with pricing problems due to typographical or other errors on this website. Policies and terms for any order are governed by the ones in force at the time the order is placed. I reserve the right to change my policies and terms for future orders by notifying you at this page.

Shipping Information:
Please allow 3 business days (business days are M-F only) to prepare your order BEFORE shipment. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days. Then allow for shipping time. Regular stock items are normally shipped by Crystals and Stones Haven in Florida, who I have contracted for order fulfillment. Special order, custom orders, made to order items, and occasionally regular orders may be shipped from my office in Virginia. Some orders may be shipped in two packages, but you will be charged for only one shipping charge! Orders that include special order or made to order items will be shipped when those items which require additional time are ready. All orders go out as quickly as possible. Shipping time will then depend on the method of shipment you choose. Special orders, made to order items, custom jewelry, unusually large orders, or during exceptionally heavy sales periods such as holidays, and the like, may take additional time to prepare to ship. You will be sent an email when your order has been shipped so that you know when to expect it.
Purchases are shipped according to the shipping method you choose. Shipping methods currently available in the US are US Postal Service Priority Mail and US Postal Service Express Mail. En route tracking is ONLY available if you choose Express Mail. Delivery Confirmation, which is included in Priority Mail shipping, shows when the package is delivered, but does not provide step by step tracking while en route to you. Fed Ex shipping can be arranged for an additional charge. Shipping rates are calculated according to the shipping method chosen and weight rounded to the nearest 1/10th of a pound including packing materials, as calculated by the shopping cart. APO, FPO, and US Territories & Possessions that can receive USPS Priority Mail can have orders shipped via USPS at the same cost as USA orders. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Credit card purchases will be shipped to the person whose name is on the card at the billing address of the card. Orders may need to be signed for upon receipt.
Shipping Insurance: I currently "self-insure" shipments under $100. All USA orders $100 and up will have postal or Endicia insurance (my discretion) and I will pay the insurance fee.
Shipping Rates for USA orders: For USA orders over $75.00 (after any discounts), Priority Mail shipping (or UPS, at my discretion) is FREE! For other USA orders, shipping is calculated by the shopping cart according to the shipping method chosen and the estimated weight including packing materials, rounded to the nearest 10th of a pound.
Privacy: Robyn A Harton and I NEVER sell, lease, share or rent any personal information you provide at CrystalsAndJewelry.com. All personal information is held in strict confidence and is used only to process orders and related legitimate business between you and Robyn A Harton Creative, or as required by law. See the privacy policy page for more detailed explanation.
Security: When you go to enter your personal and payment information to checkout, your information is is handled by my contracted secure, McAfee and HackerSafe shopping cart service (Americart) and passed on to a Verisign approved secure gateway to process your credit card information (AuthorizeNet or PayPal) and from there goes to the credit card merchant banks which is where the payment is ultimately charged. In the case of direct PayPal payments, only PayPal has your credit card information. All services that handle your information to process your credit card payment are PCI DSS compliant. Endicia postage processing service and the shipping service used (US Postal Service, or occasionally courier services like UPS, DHL or FedEx) will handle your address and possibly phone information only in order to deliver your order and handle any related shipping insurance. I have chosen all these world class services specifically to ensure that your personal and credit card information stays secure at all times.
Checks or money orders mailed for payment are handled by me personally, and are only seen by me, the post office (in the case of postal money orders being cashed) and/or my bank. So the only people who have access even to the information written on your checks or money orders is me and the post office or bank personnel required to handle them. I, the post office, and the bank, are committed to keeping your information secure.
Satisfaction Guarantee: Your satisfaction is guaranteed or you can return your items for a refund or web-store credit. Please note that special order, made to order, clearance, and custom orders may only be returned for web-store credit or exchange.

Returns & Refunds: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, just contact me immediately to let me know to expect the return and get return authorization. Return the items in original condition postmarked within 10 days of receipt. Regular stock items will be refunded when returned according to these terms. Custom, special order, and made to order items may be exchanged for web-store credit. Please insure your returns in case of loss or damage in shipping, as I cannot give refunds or exchanges for items that don't arrive back to me in the condition they left in. Refunds cannot be made for items returned postmarked more than 10 days after you receive the item or if you do not contact me to approve the return. In these cases, you may be eligible to receive web-store credit good for any item currently available at CrystalsAndJewelry.com depending on the situation. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Damaged In Shipping: If your item(s) arrive in a damaged condition, save ALL the boxes and packing materials, as well as the items. Then contact me immediately and I will help straighten it out. You must save all packing materials in the event that a postal or insurance inspector needs to see them for insurance purposes. They made that rule, not me. :)
Handmade Jewelry Guarantee: I guarantee my handcrafted jewelry to be free or defects in materials and workmanship -- for life! If your jewelry that I have made breaks in the course of normal wear, I will repair or replace it, free. As with all fine jewelry, normal wear does not include swimming, bathing, housework, sports, strenuous activity, being chewed on or run over or stomped on, chemicals, and other such things unsuitable for fine jewelry. (Nope, I don't make cheap discount store jewelry that you can mash and toss.) I will repair, refund, or replace it at my discretion, depending on feasibility. If your jewelry does get damaged in the course of "abnormal" wear, I'll be glad to fix or replace it at the most reasonable repair fee I can.
Custom, Special Order and Made to Order Items: Custom, Special Order and Made to Order items must be prepaid and can take an up to an additional four weeks to get shipped depending on what it is. If you place an order for both regular stock and these special items, your order will be shipped when ALL items are ready. If you are in a rush for the regular stock items, please let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you when you need it. All custom, special order and made to order items must be prepaid and are non-refundable, although if for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return them for a web-store credit good for anything in stock at CrystalsAndJewelry.com.
Payment Methods:
I accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and PayPal online via secure shopping cart. Just use the shopping cart!
I no longer accept payments by phone or fax due to newly implemented credit card processor regulations.
I also accept checks and money orders (US and Canada only). Just use the shopping cart to create a printable order form to mail with your payment, and send your payment to the address on the print out. Orders will be held for until payment has arrived and cleared in my bank. Note: If you do not use the shopping cart to fully process and print the order, I have no record of it, so I cannot hold items until yor payment arrives.
Cancellation Policy: I reserve the right to cancel any order at any time for any reason, without notice. Refunds will be given for any orders so cancelled.
Handling: I do not impose any handling charges at this time.
Sales Tax: Sales tax will be added to orders where it is required by law that I collect sales tax. At this time it is to orders shipped to addresses in the State of Virginia unless appropriate sales tax forms are filled out and mailed or faxed to me.
Returned Check Policy: There is a $32 fee for each time a check is refused/returned for any reason by your bank, which may happen up to twice per check. If a check is returned by the bank for any reason, payment by money order or cashier's check will be required in order to ship the items. Returned check fees and amounts may be recovered by a collection agency or other legal method as a normal part of doing business.
Non-USA / International Orders: Non-USA/International orders are now handled by the shopping cart using the payment method of PayPal to use PayPal to process PayPal funds or credit cards! Canada Post money orders are also accepted. There has been some confusion with non-USA customers wanting orders shipped to various places other than their Paypal address (the billing address), so to make it crystal clear: Non-USA orders are shipped to the registered/confirmed/verified PayPal address only.
Minimum order for Non-USA/International orders is $100 before the shipping is added. If you place an order below the minimum, we will contact you once to either add items to meet the minimum or pay the difference as a service fee. If we do not hear from you within 3 days, we will cancel your order and refund your payment. If Non-USA orders cannot be shipped for some legal reason or require Registered Mail shipping to arrive safely, we will contact you by email with additional information. Individual international order terms vary according to postal regulations and applicable laws, and include all the terms shown on this page. YOU are responsible for seeing that all items you order and pay for are acceptable to ship into your country. Non-USA orders may be held by customs for extended periods of time for inspection , and we cannot be responsible for this or do anything about it. We use US Post Office Insurance and Registered Mail guidelines to determine when we are able to re-ship or get insurance for not-received international orders(usually 45 days or more) and you agree to abide by this by placing an order to ship to a Non-USA address. Non-USA orders will be shipped only via insured Priority Mail International or Registered Mail. We get a discount on Priority Mail International, which we use to cover the insurance cost. If Priority Mail International is not available or the insurance cost is more than the discount, we will contact you with further instructions. If we determine that we cannot ship your order to you safely, it will be cancelled and your payment refunded.
