My friend Michele Doucette, who runs Portals of Spirit has had a book published this summer! I’d meant to mention it earlier, but  time just skeedaddled away from me too fast. But I’m mentioning it now at least Her book is  A Travel in Time to Grand Pré

The beach was awesome. I had a great time with my father and brother. And George the Duck. LOL But it’s always good to be back home. I have my water energy charged up for a while now.

Someone commented that it didn’t seem like I was on vacation since I wasn’t off on a trip.  Ok, so it was more of a stay-cation so I didn’t have to round up a skeedoodle of bucks to go wear myself out somewhere.  I stayed home except for a visit to see my brother and this is what I did, lazy critter that I was.

I had birthday sushi! YUM!

Played with the cats.

Went with my mother to see my brother for a short trip. I bet you can tell who is who. hehe

Took the car out for a long drive with loud music to sing along with.

Let my nails grow a bit and polished them. That won’t last now that I’m back at work, but it was fun.  (How DO those people make jewelry and have great nails? I’ve never figured that one out!)

Hand one of my friend Milt’s famous perfect homemade pizzas for my birthday. More YUM!

Made sure I didn’t forget to pick up the cat’s treats. In this case, fishie flakes for Gree. I’d hate it if the cats rebelled. hehe

Read a couple of good books.

And just generally acted silly and relaxed.

Not exactly Disneyland, but when you have your own business, any time you’re not paying attention to it is a vacation. So I vacated, and it was nice
