Dealing with rudeness

by Robyn on September 25, 2009

PLately I am finding myself dealing with more and more rudeness and lack of civility. I don’t know if it’s the financial atmosphere or whether I’m somehow calling it to me, but it has been bothering me.  So I’m looking into crystal that can help me weather this climate of rudeness in a healthy manner.

The first ones that come to mind are ones that are used for calmness. The more calm I am, the less externals get to me. Some are abalone, amber, amazonite, amethyst,  angelite, aragonite, barite (especially desert rose type), bloodstone, blue lace agate, blue peru opal, blue chalcedony, calcite (especially blue), celestite, chrysocolla, diopside (especially black star), dioptase, fluorite, fossilized dinosaur bone, galena, garnet, goldstone, hematite, hiddenite, howlite, infinite stone, jet, pearl, larimar, lepidolite, lepidolite with rubellite, lithium quartz, moonstone, orange millennium, petalite, petrified wood, picasso stone, pietersite, pink manganocalcite, rainbow moonstone, rhodonite, richterite, rubellite, scapolite, septarian, shattuckite, smoky quartz, snow quartz, sodalite, spinel, stichtite, variscite, white fairy quartz, yttrian (yttrium, lavender) fluorite. My there are a lot of these stones to choose from. That’s great.

Next, stones for mental and emotional balance: ametrine, bloodstone, blue topaz, carnalian, celestite, chiastolite, chrysoprase, fluorite, hematite, kunzite, lepidolite, lodestone, rhodochrosite, rhodonite, sodalite, tektite, tigers eye, tourmaline, tree agate, unakite.  Again, external things are less upsetting when I’m more balanced mentally and emotionally.

Lastly, crystals that are used for inner peace for the same reason. Some of those are: amethyst, apatite, aquamarine, aventurine, blue topaz, blue tourmaline, calcite, celestite, chrysocolla, blue fluorite, hawk’s eye (blue tigers eye), herkimer diamond, jade, jasper, kunzite, lepidolite, malachite, opal, rose quartz, selenite, sugilite.

There is a lot of overlaps in these stones, for good reason. They have similar types of energies in this aspect, and inner peace, calmness and mental/emotional balance can be seen as different sides of the same thing.

I hope that if you’re dealing with the same types of things, or anything that threatens to upset your inner peace, this will be helpful to you.

I think it may partly be with the opposition of Saturn/Uranus that people are being ruder and also the Mercury retrograde making September particularly bad. I don’t think that people really know how they sound. It seems to be easing a bit–not sure of the exact day that mercury is back direct but I think that will be a big help too. Does that change your stone selection at all?

Ah, that could be it Bonnie. I should have known Mercury was retrograde LOL Doesn’t really change my stone selection, since I want something that is related to any time, for me at least. It does help me to have an idea what might be going on though. Thanks!
