Sacred Spear

Sacred Spear is an unusual pendant that I handcraft from an Aqua Aura quartz crystal, and .925 Sterling Silver. This piece of jewelry is called a "spear" in its name to hearken back to the Norse legends, where a spear was used to dedicate sacrifices to Odin. While I don't condone sacrificing people or animals the way they did historically, this piece can be used as a power tool in rituals where a statement of sacrifice is being made.

You will probably notice that the coloring in the aqua aura crystal looks a bit different in each of the close-up photos. Yes, it's the same stone in all the photos, but there is a reason for that. It's because the coloring of aqua aura shimmers and changes in the light. I've tried to give you photos that catch some of the different looks the stone can get as it moves in the light, as if you were wearing it.

This pendant is approximately 1.5" to 1.75" (38 - 44 mm) long depending on the size of the crystal. Of course, each pendant will vary because of the exact configuration and size of the crystal, since these are not cut but are natural quartz crystals transformed into aqua aura. The ring bail on this pendant will accommodate chains up to approximately 3 mm in size, but if you need a larger bail just let me know in the comments section of the shopping cart and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. To wear it as a necklace or brooch, you can use it with your favorite chain or add an inexpensive accessory to make it a very versatile piece of jewelry.

In alignment with the mystical lore associated with the stone, I crafted this piece with the prayer and intent that the wearer be blessed with success and prosperity.
