Size: This pendant is approxiately 1.1 " (29.5mm) from the top of the bail. The bail will accommodate a chain of approximately 6 mm diameter. Optional fine Argentium sterling silver necklace chain is approximately 16".

Spinel is a stone that comes in so many colors it's often confused for other stones. It's a valid mineral in its own right, though, and has many positive energetic properties.
