Sapphire / Ruby Mix Chunks

Why are these called Sapphire/Ruby Mix Chunks. Well, because they're a mix of Sapphire and Ruby. Sapphire and Ruby are the same stone, actually, but Ruby is the name used only for the red sapphires. Sapphire comes in the well known blue, but also in purples, pinks, reds, orange, green, brown, and white. Any given piece in this mix may have sapphire colors ranging throughout this color palette, although most are in the blue to red purple range. Because these are raw and not sorted by color, they're less expensive, while still having great sapphire energy. Woo!

These chunks of rough sapphire are all natural. The first time I ever saw a chunk of sapphire rough, it was in Tucson at the big rock show. I saw a bucket of large sapphire crystals sitting by a doorway and said, "What's with the cement?" I thought it was chunks of cement from looking at it! The laugh was on me! Those ugly chunks turned out to be real, natural sapphire! Once I got my hands on them, I could feel my mistake because of their energy. They're no beauty queens as rocks go, but they have good energy.

Stilbite

These are stilbite specimens from India. Most are pale to deep peach color, but the colors may vary. As you can see, most have matrix or other associated zeolite minerals like apophyllite, quartz, or prehnite. Stilbite is a Zeolite, so it has Zeolite energy as well as its own particular energy. These specimens range in size from 1.5" to 3" at the largest point. The photos are representative examples, just to show you some of the possible formations and colors.
