A fun little thing to do - "A Little About Me"I got this in the email from my friend Lynne, and said "What the heck, I'll do it." So I did it, and since the answer to one of the questions involved being curious what visitors to my site would answer, I thought I'd post it up here and see who answers and what they have to say. (You can download a copy of the questions in a handy little text file here and email me the answers -- I promise I won't share your answers with anyone.) Revisited 8/06 in blue. :)
1. What time did you get up this morning? 7:30am the first time 8/06: Morning? I got up at 1pm since I'm now a confirmed night owl. 2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds, black diamonds 8/06: Still black diamonds, definitely
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? what's a cinema? ;), 8/06: Pirates of the Caribbean 2, AND I saw it on opening night, something I haven't done since Star Trek II came out! 4. What is your favorite TV show? Law and order CI 8/06: Still L&O:CI 5. What did you have for breakfast? papaya and peach smoothie 8/06: Atkins Chocolate Royale Shake 6. What is your middle name? Alyson 8/06: gee, this one is still the same too, imagine! 7. What is your favorite cuisine? American 8/06: Still American, but Thai is a close second, and pass the mango lassi, will you? 8. What foods do you dislike? oatmeal *shudder*, and brussels sprouts because they patently are NOT like little cabbages 8/06: Ditto 9. Your favorite Potato chip? potato flavor 8/06: I have to admit to a special fondness for kettle chips 10. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Breakaway by whats-her-name (I looked it up for you, Kelly Clarkson) 8/06: Music from Lord of the Rings movie soundtrack 11. What kind of car do you drive? Toyota 8/06: Same car
12. Favorite sandwich? Ham and Cheese with Mayo 8/06: Roast Beef and Pepper Jack is a close second 13. What characteristics do you despise? Negativity (especially in myself) 8/06: same old
20. Place you were born? Nawth Carolina 8/06: My birthplace won't change unless I slip sideways into another dimension. If that happens, I'll have to get back to you on it.
21. Favorite Sports to watch? If I must watch a sport, I'd rather see rubgy -- it's so very honest about making the competition bleed. 8/06: I haven't picked up a fanaticism for any sport, so I guess this stays the same.
22. Who do you least expect to send this back? Chuck 8/06: Well, I'm not exactly "sending" it. 23. Person who will respond first? Clarisse 8/06: See #22.
24. What laundry detergent do you use? The one in the laundry room 8/06: Same 25. Coke or Pepsi? Coke. No petsi, coke coke ;) 8/06: Coke coke! Actually diet coke, but still no petsi. 26. Are you a morning person or night owl? *hoot hoot* 8/06: Still hooting! 27. What size shoe do you wear? 8 narrow (which is an improvement over the 8 AAA I used to wear) 8/06: Same 28. Favorite Animal? CAT! 8/06: The cats would mug me if I ever changed this one.
29. Any news you'd like to share with everyone? I have given up the negativity habit again! (How'd I get back into it anyways???) 8/06: I can't think of anything 30. What did you want to be when you were LITTLE? BIG, and a nurse, a teacher, a writer, a rock star 8/06: See #20.
31. Favorite candy bar? Reese's Cups, but that's subject to change 8/06: Still Reese's Cups, maybe I should buy stock? 32. What is your favorite childhood memories? Playing fantasy games with my brother, like taking over the world from the old mail van in the yard, or airline pilot with the Capehard controls, or pharmacist with the grill (go figure that one LOL) we were so creative!
33. What are the different jobs you have had in your life? doctor, lawyer, Indian chief? No, wait... fast food slave, bookkeeper, student records slave, accountant, secretary, network administrator, calligrapher, pain center admin, internet manager, graphic designer, web designer, artist, intuitive jewelry artist, psychic reader & tarot reader, energy healer, minister (non-traditional), right hand gal, breathing, being born into a family, notary public, and no doubt some others I can't remember right now 8/06: Since I'm doing the same things, now, I haven't added any new ones.
34. What color underwear are you wearing? flesh tone 8/06: Same
35. Nicknames: Robs, Woodstock, BB, Miss Mouse, Beeg Seester, Robinski 8/06: Silver Spinner
36. Piercing? Just the old fashioned one in each earlobe 8/06: No new piercings.
37. Eye color? hazel, just like everyone else in my immediate family 8/06: If my eye color changes, I'll let you know.
38. Ever been to Africa? Not this lifetime 8/06: Still haven't 39. Ever been toilet papering? Nope 8/06: I don't expect I'll ever take that up. 40. Ever loved someone so much it made you cry? Yep 8/06: Can't change the past and don't want to change the present, so yes. 41. Ever been in a car accident? Yes, and it was a top life experience because I learned to relax and accept as I spun towards a telephone pole and "realized" I was going to die. (Obviously I didn't, but that was just a bonus!) 8/06: I barely managed to miss being in a bad 5 car accident on I-95 on the way to the Wire Jewelry Fest. Thankfully, I don't get to add that to "in a car accident" experience list. 44. Favorite restaurant? Akida (The sushi place where they know my brother's name and know I'm his sister.) 8/06: Akida's still number one. Oddly enough, Outback is number two. Consistency thou art a jewel. ;) 45. Favorite Ice cream ? Gelati Celesti Butter Pecan, Breyer's Vanilla Bean is a close second 8/06: Yep yep, still the same!
46. Favorite flower? Rose (yes, I have a conventional streak too LOL) 8/06: Roses still smell sweet and all that, I love them.
47. Disney or Warner Brothers? Disney! 8/06: Still Disney -- my inner child insists! 48. Favorite fast food restaurant? Wendy's 8/06: Still Wendy's 49 What color is your bedroom carpet? Maroon 8/06: It's still maroon but it's hiding under a light green rug now.
50. How many times did you take your drivers test ? Once per state I got licensed in minus one. That would be 4 times now. 8/06: No moving, so no new drivers tests to add. 51. Before this one, from whom did you get your last email? Some Nigerian person wanting to give me lots of money. 8/06: Someone wanting to sell me levitra and cialis. 52. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Rio Grande (jewelry supplies, beads, and metals, oh my!) 8/06: Don't you mean "have chosen"??? ;)
53. What do you do most often when you are bored? I get bored every couple of years, and I can't remember what I did the last time. 8/06: No boredom since I last wrote, so same answer.
54. Bedtime? Huh? 8/06: When I fall over from exhaustion, maybe, but never before 3am. hehehe 55. Who are you most curious about their responses to this questionnaire? The visitors to my website. They're often so anonymous to me, and I'm curious about them. 8/06: Still the same! 56. Last person you went to dinner with? Milt, which I can remember because that was a whole hour and a half ago. 8/06: Clarisse, and I could only eat half of it because of this silly stomach bug I picked up somewhere. 57. What are you listening to right now? The air conditioner, when I pay attention, the inside of my head, otherwise. 8/06: Voices in my head? No, seriously, just as before.
59. What is your favorite color? Purple 8/06: Still purple.
60. Lake, Ocean or River? Ocean! 8/06: Ocean, always ocean!
61. How many tattoos do you have? I'd have to check the prize from the cracker jack box and I can't find it just now. 8/06: I lost the cracker jack box prize, so none. 62. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Neither and both. 8/06: How could I possible improve on my previous answer? 63. How many people are you sending this Email to? That depends on what you mean by "send". 8/06: Ditto that. 64. Who sent this to you and what is something you didn't know about him/her? Lynne, that she was born in Newport Beach 8/06: Since I started from what was here before, Nobody. 64a. What materialistic thing would you ask for if you had one wish to make? A wad of money big enough to pay off everything and live off the interest for the rest of my life so I could live without having to be concerned about earning a living. 8/06: The same but I forgot to say that I'd want to live making jewelry and helping people without having to earn a living per se. In other words, I'd want to do what I do now.
